Request to Update Address

All international students and scholars in the U.S. are required by the law to check in and be registered with USCIS after arrival, and inform USCIS of their changes of address within 10 days after moving.

Current F1 students: Completing this form will update SEVIS only. Before submitting this request, please make sure to log into your MyÂ鶹ÊÓƵ portal > Records & Registration and update your current U.S./mailing address and permanent/home country address information. This way your SEVIS records and school records are accurate and updated.

Students on OPT/ STEM OPT: Required to report to ISGSS within 10 days of any change in your:
  • US residential address
  • Employer update
  • Employment status – including when you stop OPT at anytime during the authorized period (i.e, change status, leave the US, etc)
